We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Henrico County, Virginia. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Your main tasks: • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
