Fabrication workshop technician — Bowie County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Bowie County, Texas. You will be based at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication You should have: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience.
