Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Calaveras County, California. The job is at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level The role involves strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
