Immediate opening: we are hiring a power press operator in Shagamu, Ogun State. The job is on the press shop floor. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg On a typical shift you will adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area.
