Stitching operator — Saint Mary's County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Saint Mary's County, Maryland. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. On a typical shift you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
