Join our team: we are hiring a rigger in Burleson County, Texas. You will be based at a shipyard. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles You will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use.
