Counter butcher — Bourbon County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a counter butcher in Bourbon County, Kansas. You will be based in a hotel or restaurant butchery. Day to day you will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
