Industrial sewing operator — Valley County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Valley County, Nebraska. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown 5+ years on the tools preferred.
