Brickwork mason • Rusk County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Rusk County, Texas. The job is on a busy housing site. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Your main tasks: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $170 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
