Sheet metal welder — Knox County

Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Knox County, Illinois. You will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
