We are recruiting: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Surry County, North Carolina. You will work at a dry cleaner's. You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Your main tasks: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Pay around $250 per day, based on your experience.
