Shuttering carpenter — Leon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Leon County, Texas. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. Day to day you will assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
