Join our team: concrete worker (Alaska)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete worker in Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout. Requirements: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
