Sewing machine operator wanted in Ikwuano

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Ikwuano, Abia State. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. Day-to-day duties: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Rotating shifts. ₦130,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
