Precision welder — Adair County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Adair County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances The role involves back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
