Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Nicholas County, Kentucky. The role involves set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
