Production welder — Uruan

Great opportunity: we are hiring a production welder in Uruan, Akwa Ibom State. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test The role involves: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs Part-time with flexible hours.
