Groundsman — Machina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundsman in Machina, Yobe State. You will work on a golf course. You should have: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules On a typical shift you will sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
