Concrete placer — Lafayette County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete placer in Lafayette County, Arkansas. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. The role involves load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing. You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
