Vacancy available: bricklayer (Florida)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Pinellas County, Florida. You will work on a commercial construction site. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks The role involves: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $10,000 per project, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
