Die-casting operator wanted in Chouteau County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Chouteau County, Montana. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Part-time with flexible hours.
