Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Lee County, Kentucky. The job is at a residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage The role involves: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
