Refrigeration installation technician wanted in Nome Census Area

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Nome Census Area, Alaska. The job is in a commercial cold storage facility. Day to day you will measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns 5+ years on the tools preferred.
