On a typical shift you will trace and clear blockages in drains, traps and gully pits; fit and seal taps, mixers, stopcocks and gate valves; solder copper pipe joints and fit compression couplings; make connections to the mains water and sewer lines; read plumbing layouts and mark pipe routes on site; install wash basins, sinks, WCs and flush cisterns.
