Great opportunity: CNC programmer-operator (Kentucky)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Barren County, Kentucky. You will be based in a toolroom. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to grind and set HSS cutters On a typical shift you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $24 per hour plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
