Marble polisher — Mercer County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a marble polisher in Mercer County, West Virginia. You will work at a marble and granite workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys Requirements: • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
