Now hiring: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Tulare County, California. You will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
