Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Woodruff County, Arkansas. Your main tasks: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
