Tower crane operator — Rensselaer County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Rensselaer County, New York. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. Day to day you will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
