Tower crane operator — Gilmer County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Gilmer County, Georgia. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. Day-to-day duties: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
