Join our team: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Blount County, Tennessee. You will work in a busy paint shop. You should have: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg Your main tasks: • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
