The role involves repair headlights, indicators and brake-light circuits; fit car stereos, reverse cameras and dashcams; service power windows, mirrors and wiper motors; install alarms, immobilisers and central locking; solder and heat-shrink wiring joints; test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter. You should have: • Good colour vision for identifying wire colours • Steady hands for soldering fine connections Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
