Vertical milling machine operator — Hamilton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Hamilton County, Tennessee. Your main tasks: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
