Immediate opening: beldar (New Jersey)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a beldar in Ocean County, New Jersey. You will be based on a commercial building project. You should have: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker On a typical shift you will hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site.
