Now hiring: we are hiring a panel welder in Hardeman County, Texas. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
