Die-casting operator wanted in Clare County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Clare County, Michigan. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. On the job you will handle: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
