Vacancy available: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Doguwa, Kano State. The job is on a structural steel site. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Performance bonus on top of base pay.
