Now hiring: we are hiring an advanced scaffolder in Roanoke County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
