Excavator operator — Rush County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an excavator operator in Rush County, Kansas. What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control The role involves work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience.
