Bakery assistant • Pike County, Pennsylvania

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Pike County, Pennsylvania. You will work in a bread factory. Ideal candidate: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks On a typical shift you will prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; score the top of loaves before baking. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
