Join our team: we are hiring a press machine operator in Norton County, Kansas. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Day-to-day duties: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways Rotating shifts.
