We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Concho County, Texas. Day to day you will check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; prepare the mise en place before each service; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha. Requirements: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
