Rebar installer — Logan County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar installer in Logan County, Kentucky. On a typical shift you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
