Car painter wanted in Kiowa County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a car painter in Kiowa County, Kansas. You will work in an automotive paint and panel workshop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand The role involves wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting.
