Quality control inspector — Lanier County

Now hiring: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Lanier County, Georgia. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience.
