We are recruiting: trowel-trade bricklayer (Wales)

Now hiring: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Newport, Wales. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently The role involves pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
