Steam press operator — Irepodun

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steam press operator in Irepodun, Osun State. You will work in a garment export house. On a typical shift you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
