Conventional mill operator wanted in Jackson County

Join our team: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Jackson County, Oklahoma. You will work in a toolroom. The role involves measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
