In-process quality controller — Jackson County

Join our team: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Jackson County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping The role involves: • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 3+ years on the tools preferred.
