Shuttering carpenter wanted in Watauga County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Watauga County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Full-time with occasional weekends.
